This Spring 1995 collection, presented in New York on October 29, 1994, has been digitized as part of Vogue Runway’s ongoing efforts to document the history of the fashion show.
Writing about “Dial-a-Decade” spring 1995, circulation The report states that “Marc Jacobs revisits the sophisticated, sexy Saint Laurent woman of the ’70s.” There was definitely that – and much more. The mix included leis and Mickey Mouse ears, anchor-festooned nautical looks, and satin Western dresses available to order from Nashville’s own Manuel. Closing the show in stunning ’30s gold looks were Kate Moss, who had a flower crown in her hair, and Kristen McMenamy, who wore a black witch hat and cape. The models were carrying balloons, indicating a costume party.
