Lando Noris has explained that his 2024 title battle with Max Vastapane was a valuable learning state despite making several expensive mistakes. Britain is now fighting the Red Bull Star and Team-Mate Oscar Piastry for the 2025 crown.
“I think the second half (over) of last year I learned the most about coming back to the front, performed under pressure, and raced against the best in the world,” Noris said F1.com“When we are doing other things, we learn a lot there. Can I take a better decision?
“At the end of the day, I was happy in such a way that I got to experience all those things and learn from all those things, because it definitely helps me to become a better driver now, and I am very ready now. Everyone is separate.
“For me, it was a good learning experience. Some of them especially with maximum compared to others, but with a lot of different situations. Even though it was my sixth year, it was still a very big learning state. It was a great weather to choose all the things that were going in winter.
“I turned back and saw what was good, what was not good, strength, weaknesses, and how you put them to make them another full driver. I think (this) was important in terms of learning and understanding more about yourself, and what work I need to do.”
