Adrian Navy has been abandoned since joining Aston Martin’s simulator facilities red Bull,
The F1 is hoping to bring the Technical Guru team back to the best of the game. However, their first objective will bring the driver back to the loop simulator, which experiences the actual drivers of the team on the track.
Newey said in Monaco: “I think it is appropriate to say that some of our equipment are weak, especially the driver in a loop simulator.
“It needs a lot of work because it is not at all correlated at all, which is a fundamental research tool. It is not a limit.
“But in the meantime we have just got to work around it and then solve a plan to get it where it must be. But it is actually a two -year project.”
“This is a barrier, but it is difficult to say how much. The driver is used in two ways in the loop simulator. As a research appliance, when you are looking at how you are going to design the car of the next year, and how you are going to keep all the equipment together, to do better models.
“Then the second is how you develop a car set-up, usually, especially for race weekends given.
“So we are going to be a little blind on it for some time. We have just got to try to use experience and best decision. How successful it will be, will tell time.”
