Photograph of flowers is easy and very beneficial. You can make beautiful images with any tool, any day or evening, indoors and outside. Spring flower is nirvana for photography but I get good opportunities throughout the year.
I walk in my neighborhood of shooting flowers almost every day. And sometimes go to the nursery (garden type). You do not need to read this article to shoot good photos. But if you read it, I hope you will help you in pictures of flowers more quickly.
Lens
(Most) anything works when it comes to the lens. I have been successful with a simple 35 mm lens till telephoto. My favorite range is 50 mm to 90 mm, with a priority towards the long end. Not you need A macro lens. Even cheap lenses are sharp in the center and if they are blurred on the edges, it is completely fine, even preferred.
hole
I like the range of f/4 to f/8. I have also tried F/0.95, but the depth of the area is only one millimeter, so it is hard for nail focus and you cannot capture the flower enough enough. To blur in the background to faste aperture such as photographers. However, as these examples show, the blurred background behind the flowers usually occurs naturally with any aperture.
Glow
Gentle flash is usually great, but not necessary. I like the way the flash brightens deep wings and pollen in the center. I often use my EVF magnifier, place the autofocus on the wings at the center and ensure that they are sharp. Flower pictures are equal to the eyes in the feathers. I often use a monopod to help me target small centers.
Plagosis
These are pollen dispenser in flowers. They are fumed with pollen particles.
Often the same flower can be captured in different ways, only the center can be emphasized, or broad. And do not ignore unplanned buds.
Of course, forging bees is a bonus. Don’t be afraid of them. I have taken a picture of tens of thousands of bees and have never been threatened.
The flash can help black the background. To install an exposure for the dark background, take some unird Test shots without flash. Then add flash to bring the flower up. The farther the background, the greater the effect.
Season
The cloud days are also best for their light. But flash helps to fill hard shade during sunlight. I am undivided, resulting in rich colors and help preserve the texture in light petals.
Although a sharp shutter can freeze the flowers waving in the air, your autofocus will be confused by waving the flowers. Take additional shots and try manual focus on air days.
After the rain, water drops are beautiful.
I have tried to sprinkle water on a flower, but the drops were very small.
With modern high-megapixel cameras, you do not need to be very close. You will have a lot of range for the crop.
Editing
I harvest to emphasize the flower. Then I adjust the exposure for bright highlights, take care to maintain the texture. Then, deepen the middle-ton to enrich the color, possibly carrying saturation control. Finally, I rapidly intensify most photos. If you have a high-megapixel camera, you can end with a file that is larger and slow to share. So I often shape to create a small version but maintain the original for printing. When seen on most screens, a 1200-pixel wide file would look as big as anything big. Use.
