In New York ‘F1’ inside the movie premiere – and why did some drivers not attend

F1 Padock made a crazy dash Montreal for Manhattan after Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix for the film ‘F1’ film. The much awaited Brad Pitt started on the big screen at the Radio City Music Hall, a couple of blocks away from the red carpet in the center of New York City.

Of the 20 drivers of the grid, 15 on Monday morning went to Big Apple, and a Swacker hotel examined at Uptown. There was no time to visit the sightseeing, however, the drivers prepared themselves within a few hours for the red carpet and moved towards the Times Square. He joined the film’s cast and creatives, as well as with other celebrities including Suna Lee, Lindsay Vaughan, John Mayor and Dome Doll.

Some notable people were missing, including the driver of Mercedes Kimi Antonally. Fresh from his first podium finish, 18 -year -old had to leave the festival to return to Italy for his last school examinations. Safe to say this, perhaps that post-race celebrations did not include too much champagne.

Championship leader Oscar Piastry made team commitments with McLaren elsewhere in the US, so he reached there directly from Canada. Meanwhile, Max Verustapane flew home from home to spend time with his newborn daughter before testing his team’s GT3 car at Circuit de Spa-Franchry Champs. Both Aston Martin Driver – Lance Walking and Fernando Alonso – also opted to sit out.

While the premiere was a great phenomenon for VIP and Press, none of the drivers actually watched the film in New York. He already had a private screening in Monaco last month, but was not for him to Verustapain and walk, so he would have to squeeze on his time. After the red carpet, a photo in front of the Group prestigious Manhattan horizon went to the top of The Rock for OPP, while Louis joined his co-producers on stage in Hamilton Radio City before the screening begins. He saw the dapper in the dyer and completed the look with a diamond and ruby-encasted goat brooch. Will Buxon, David Croft and Martin Bundle were among some F1 personalities in the audience, who posed for a photo with fans before the party left in Sikriyani.
