Commercial rightsholder fom and governing body FIA jointly revealed the 2026 Formula 1 calendar, which will again have 24 race weekends.
The season begins with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on 8 March and ends in Abu Dhabi on 6 December.
As mentioned earlierRamadan Holiday means that Australia once again hosts the season opener instead of Bahrain.
After the March 8 curtain at Albert Park in Melbourne, F1 is the head of China for a double-header with Shanghai. Unlike this year, Japan will be a standalone phenomenon, which will create a difference before the more traditional double-header of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Conflict with Canadian Grand Prix Indianapolis 500
The most notable changes compared to the 2025 calendar appear in May. As announced earlierMontreal’s Canadian Grand Prix with Miami will proceed to improve the goods logistics. But the interval of three weeks still means both race standalones, and Canada will now collide with India’s running on 500 on 24 May.
This difference is partially designed by removing Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix of Emola, which cannot renew its contract and is now officially leaving the calendar for time.

The Monaco Grand Prix has been withdrawn in the first weekend of June, which after moving away from its traditional end-my date to adjust the desire of Miami and Canada together, has been named the race of Barcelona-which is still losing the Spanish Grand Prix Monikar with Madrid, but is still left to another.
The rest of the pre-summer brake schedule remains largely unchanged until the Hungarian Grand Prix in late July, which is at the end of the first half of the season.
The campaign then takes back to the last Dutch Grand Prix at the Zandwort, followed by a double-header in Italy and Spain, later at a hybrid street circuit in Madrid.
As happened in 2024, season two triple-headers ended with six race weekends in seven weeks. Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi rounded out the year after an American run in Austin, Mexico and Brazil.
The F1 is expected to continue with six sprint events in 2026, with three -day trials in Barcelona and Bahrain to be given more time to teams and manufacturers to gain momentum with all the new cars and electricity units of next year.
