Shed architecture and design Seattle shared pictures of a renovation completed by him in Washington.
Since the sale of Art Studios in the 1940s, the building has served various objectives from religious to residential. The renewal converts a single-tier, 1,000 square-foot structure into a two-tier, 1,858-class-foot house.
There is a look at the earlier photos here.
The current structure was previously used as a painter studio and a church. Due to the limited city size and several non-non-real land use conditions, it was preserved and integrated into the design of the new compact urban residence.
Non-influential wall height restrictions greatly affected specific clipped flat roofs and as a result internal versions.
The interior was in chaos, which caused exposed framing and damage to walls and ceilings.
The renovated 2-bedroom home is compact, but provides enough entertaining location and comfortable life. The outer is covered in shingles, while pink window frames add a pop of color and refer to the owner’s restaurant.
A fresh coat of black paint has been given to the round top front door on the edge of the house.
Inside, the original North Studio window was extended to maintain the same northern light. The main level of the house now includes a living room, dining room and kitchen.
The coupled storage is included to avail the maximum advantage of the high ceiling, with a ladder providing a ladder.
The dining area is centrally located and opens at a double-height location with visual connections at the eastern light and upper level.
The kitchen, a concrete seating wall, opens in a small backyard with a concrete seating wall, firepit and outdoor cooking areas.
Back inside, replaced window frame was rebuilt as an interior screen and ladder railing, while small doors hide storage under stairs.
Two bedrooms with a bathroom in the upper level of the house and a seated room appear down and the ceiling deck appears on the road. A half -story storage space and homes provide mechanical equipment between the two living areas.
Here is a look at the site plan and floor plan for the house.
