The Google Store has made an interesting change that shows the price of a Pixel 9 phone if the buyer trades in a device.
On the Google Store, we’re seeing the price of Pixel 9 phones “after eligible trade-ins and rebates.” refers to the latter $150 off the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL or $300 off the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
- pixel 9 “From $379” “Save up to $420”: “Estimated $270 trade in for Pixel 9 based on trade in value of Pixel 7 device.”
- pixel 9 pro “From 449” “Save up to $550”: “Estimated trade-in of $400 for the Pixel 9 Pro based on trade-in value of the Pixel 7 Pro device.”
- pixel 9 pro fold “From $1,099” “Save up to $700”: “Estimated trade-in of $400 for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold based on trade-in value of the Pixel 7 Pro device.”
- All values are based on the device in good condition: turns on, is free from cracks, and the screen functions properly.
but it is visible Home Main Product Carousel, phones” on the category page, and the top-right corner of the product listing pixel 9 seriesThe Pixel 8a and other devices that support trade-in, like the Pixel Watch and tablets, are not seeing this change.

As of now, we are seeing it only when signed in with a particular Google account. This is not visible on others we checked or when logged out. This could just be a test that Google Store is testing.
