Google Messages are rolling the ‘Anasabscribe’ button to prevent SMS and RCS spam


Google is getting a new “membership finish” facility to compete with the Google Message spam and other unwanted SMS texts or RCS chats.

The “membership finished” is for businesses Send that “Unwanted messages in Google messages, such as promotion and other non-essential materials.” The new button may appear under the chat (just above the text field) or in the overflow menu of the conversation.

Google Tell me How membership applies:

  • RC for commercial messages in the United States, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Spain and United Kingdom.
  • From SMS or MMS Message Small Code (phone number with 5-6 digits) in the United States and Alphonumeric sender.
