The Elisy Montmartre Concert Stored in Paris, France is located next to the concert hall, stepping into a new era of once the building design and stability. Recently opened Elisi Montmartra Hotel Design is a brainchild of a studio PoliceWhich has carefully converted the space into an integrated architecture, craftsmanship and environmental responsibility in a 16-kamee hotel.
Unlike traditional hospitality projects, where the interior design often depends on many external suppliers, poisonica adopted a separate route, assuming complete creative and manufacturing control on every aspect of the interiors of the hotel. The studio designed and produced all the elements in the house-from the shortest and the handle to the smallest architectural details. This unique approach resulted in an environment where each component speaks the same design language, gives guests a comfortable harmony experience and understands warmth.
At the core of this project is an innovative use of eucalyptus wood, a material often ignored in high-end design, caused by its classification as an aggressive species. In Portugal, a small scale received from forest owners, this wood, which is commonly re -accused for paper production, is renovated to demonstrate its ability for refined applications. By purchasing trees at a premium compared to traditional paper industry rates, poisonica not only enhances the status of material, but also promotes responsible and diverse forestry practices.
Pochronica’s lisbon-based workshop is operated as an incubator for end-to-end production, which usually eliminates the fragmentation seen in construction and furniture manufacture. Designers, architects, carpentry, and industrial experts collaborate under one roof, the processes that streamlide the procedures will be traditionally divided into several suppliers. This integrated workflow reduces inability and promoting innovation in permanent manufacturing.
One of the most groundbreaking progress launched in this project is the development of the solar vacuum wood dryer of Poichonica. These innovative drying chambers greatly accelerated the process of natural treatment of eucalyptus wood, reducing the time limit from 18 months to six days to ensure stability and stability. Additionally, the project maintains an extraordinary low carbon footprint, by maximizing the use of trunk of each tree and ending unnecessary transport between processing facilities.
In hotel rooms, Poichronica exploited raw materials, such as wood, plants fiber, brass and neutral fabrics, whatever it is to create a monochromatic, organic interior but bland. Each room develops a sense of being at home, if one lives in an apartment of a stylish Paris, with warmth and cozine in the middle of the urban environment.
