Dave Grohl Appears to Tease Taylor Swift: ‘We’re Playing Live’ – National
Taylor Swift fans come for Dave Grohlafter the Foo Fighters frontman reportedly attacked the popstar over the weekend.
Grohl’s comment came on Saturday night while he was performing at the London Stadium in the UK, the same night Swift was on stage nearby for her Tour of the eras at Wembley Stadium.
Several videos shared on social media by spectators show Grohl performing on the tour name Eras.
“We like call our tour the “mistakes tour,”” Grohl said. “We’ve had more than one era and more than one fucking mistake too. Just one or two. That’s because we really play live.
“What?!” he continued, to boos from the audience. “I’m just saying. You like raw, live rock’n’roll, don’t you? You’ve come to the right place.”
However, perhaps aware of the danger of angering Swift’s massive fan base, he prefaced his comments by saying: “I’m telling you, man, you don’t want to incur the wrath of Taylor Swift.”

Of course, nothing escapes Swifties, and many took Grohl’s comments as a dig that Swift doesn’t perform live (she does).
“Wow, Grohl is so drunk he has to use Taylor’s name for free publicity? It’s embarrassing to think he was better than this, what a shame,” wrote one person on X.
Another said he was “disappointed” because Grohl is “usually so kind, positive and a good force in the music industry.”
Swift, always classy, who often gives a masterful lesson on how to avoid conflict with other celebrities, appeared to respond to the dig the following night, at her third Eras show in London.

“Every single member of my band, every single member of our team, my band that’s going to play live for you for three and a half hours tonight, they deserve it so much,” she said in a video posted to social media.
“And it’s the same for all my fellow artists. And you gave this to us with such generosity that we will never forget it.”
Grohl’s comments also surprised fans, as he has said in the past that he is “obsessed” with Swift and her music, and the two have been photographed together on multiple occasions.

In 2015, the Learn to fly The singer cited Swift in a BBC interview and even dedicated a song to her at BBC Radio I’s Big Weekend Festival.
“Taylor Swift’s hometown, does that ring a bell?” he said in a clip from the show. “I’m officially obsessed, she might want to get a restraining order, because I’m totally crazy about T. Swift.”
