Allegiant adds 5 new domestic routes that do not operate by any other airline – numeral man

Allegiant Air is out with its latest detail.

The Las Vegas-based carrier filed plans to launch five new domestic routes over the weekend, as seen in the Sirium schedule. (Eleagant had Announced The route at the end of May, but was not really recorded in the global airline timetable until the end of this week.)

New routes start later in this summer and add the following airports:

  • Starting on August 29: Fort Lauderdel-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and South Bend International Airport (SBN) in South Bend, Indiana
  • Starting September 4: Mache Tyson Airport (TYS) near Noxville, Tennessee and Memphis International Airport (MEM)
  • Starting October 2: Gulf Shorece, Gulf Shorus International Airport (GUF) in Alabama, and Appleton, ATW) in Appleton, Visconsin
  • Starting October 3: Guf and Des Moines International Airport (DSM); Ki West, Florida Tys and Ki West International Airport (EYW)

As you can see, these routes are away from specific new flights that Major prefers to launch American airlines. Allegiant’s unique Ultra-Lo-Cost Point-to-Point Business Model means that the airline attempts to connect secondary and tertiary cities to the popular vacation hub with nonstop flights.

In this case, the airline is growing significantly to the Smoki Mountains via Alabama and Florida via popular beaches and Noxville.

In fact, the airline already has a very large appearance in many major gateways that are receiving more service. For example, Allegiant is the only carrier operated at Alabama’s Gulf Shorus International Airport (GUF). The airline will soon offer eight destinations from the GUF, quickly converting this airport into a fast growing outstation for elegant.

Meanwhile, the airline has operating base in Appleton, Des Moines, Fort Lauderdel and Noxville, which means that all of all those cities are already serving well. This should also make it easier for the market for elegant and create a demand for new flights, as the carrier already has a basis of flying markets in these existing markets.

Talking about the demand generation, the airline is out with some very attractive introductory rent. The Tys-Mem service starts at $ 39 in each way, while flights between Tys and EYW begin at $ 49. All other routes begin at $ 59 in each way.

Interestingly, the expansion of this route involves a rare intrastate route for elegant, and a one that has not been flown in more than a decade. Allegiant’s 342-mile Tys-Mem flight will be the first time these two cities have been linked to the air as the Southern Airways Express blows back the service of this hour in May 2015, the Syium Schedule Show. Earlier, Northwest Airlines (and Postmarger, Delta Air Lines) conducted this service from their hubs in Memphis for years.

In fact, this will be the first intra-tonasi route of the analysis according to the Syium schedule. Without this flight, passengers will need to drive about six hours in interstate 40 to get between the two cities.

However, the real question is how many people are actually making this drive today – and how many people are ready to take a nonstop flight instead. Data from the Transport Department suggests that only more than 10 passengers were ready to take a connecting journey program between Knocvile and Memphis last year, but the number jumped only for more than 20 passengers in a day when nonstop flights were offered a decade ago.

For example, it will be interesting to see how to rent in all these new markets, especially on the Entra-Tenasi route before it.
