The latest partnership of Prada Group is not with A-List Celebrity or a world-famous athletic brand, but this is no less notable. This week, the company announced the next phase of its cooperation UNFPAThe United Nations Sexual and Breeding Health Agency. “Fashion expressions: The Stories She Wears”, Joint Program, now in its third edition, uses fashion as a catalyst to empower women. Its purpose is to develop their skills so that they can achieve economic freedom, help prevent gender-based violence, and provide access to sexual and reproductive healthcare. The 2025 edition will include 46 women artisans from Querretaro, Mexico.
Lorenzo Burteli, head of the head group of corporate social responsibility, explained the importance of the program in a statement: “We are a partner with UNFPA for the third consecutive year to bring this cultural program into life, where fashion acts as a vehicle for freedom, freedom and empowerment – both for individuals and their communities.” Additionally, a statement by the head of Mariarosa Cutiillo, Unfpa private sector and Civil Society Branch highlighted the inspiration behind the project: “Women are the backbone of fashion and apparel industry,” they insisted. The program will run from April 2025 to February 2026.
