Gypsy Rose Blanchard is pregnant with her first baby – National
Gypsy Rose Blanchard announced that she is pregnant and will welcome her first child into the world early next year.
“I know the rumors have been circulating for some time now, and I am happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant,” Blanchard, 32, said in a statement. Youtube video shared Tuesday, confirming that the father is boyfriend Ken Urker.
She said the baby was “not planned,” but that she and Urker “are both very excited to embark on this new adventure of parenthood.”
She also shared a series of maternity photos on Instagram at the same time, where the couple are smiling. showed ultrasound images and a little sweater on camera.
Blanchard was Released from prison in December 2023 after spending more than eight years behind bars for his role in the second-degree murder of his mother, Clauddine (Dee Dee) Blanchard.

As a child, Dee Dee convinced her daughter and everyone else, including her doctors, that Blanchard suffered from numerous chronic health problems, including leukemia, muscular dystrophy and brain damage.
Dee Dee is believed to have suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxya mental health disorder that involves a caregiver projecting diagnoses or inducing symptoms in a dependent.
At age 23, Blanchard asked her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, whom she met online, to kill her mother. Godejohn fatally stabbed Dee Dee 17 times while she slept. He is serving a life sentence for the 2015 crime.
Blanchard and Urker were previously in a relationship while she was behind bars, but broke up in 2019. Blanchard began another relationship with pen pal Ryan Anderson while she was serving her sentence, and the couple married while she was incarcerated in 2022, but divorced in April of this yearjust five months after his release.
She confirmed she was back with Urker shortly after filing for divorce from Anderson.
