When I saw today’s theme I started looking for things that could be New Year’s resolutions, but I soon realized that things like “lose some weight”, “be the best version of me”, “learn Japanese”, etc. will not be able to become the biggest puzzle. Instead, clever strands gave us various options for It’s Over.
However this is not entirely true, as an epilogue is an additional piece of information or story after you Thinking It’s over in the movies, books and plays, then it’s really over after the epilogue – or is it? Epilogues are often meant to wrap up all of your unanswered questions about the characters, what happened in the years since the story concluded – or in the worst case scenario, to tease the next installment of the franchise. Somehow, we live in a time when leaving a movie before the credits reach the soundtrack listing is a gamble.
