The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed the Indian Premier League (IPL) umpires to be slightly more generous on player-celebrations. According to a report, the BCCI gave instructions during a weekly review meeting of the IPL umpires held last week. This reported Vikas Lucknow Super Veterans (LSG) comes in the midst of a backlash on the fine imposed on spinner Digvesh Rathi, which has been punished twice on his ‘Notebook’ festival this season. Digwesh, who is playing his first IPL season, has impressed nine wickets in seven matches.

Digvesh will be in action on Saturday as LSG will take a visit to Jaipur to Rajasthan Royals at Sarai Mansingh Stadium. LSG ranks fifth in the points table with eight points in seven matches.
