Reflection on his return Racing bulls, Liam Lawson He denys that his confidence knocked after his two formula 1 race with Red Bull, and said he did not enough to determine whether he was actually struggling.
Kiwi re -joined the Italian squad after just one brace of the Grand Prix weekend with the lead red bull team, where for their results and gaps Max Verustapane It was considered enough for Christian Horner and Helmut Marco Yuki Sunoda,
Lawson struggled with a limited running RB21 of Red Bull, faced the issue of water pressure in the test, Australia’s FP3 session stressed a turbocharger problem, and then direct action with a practice session in China. Thus New Josender finished 20th for the team for the team for two Grands Prix, China finished 20th for the Sprint Race, and also crashed in the Albert Park season opener.
Asked if he was reconstructing his confidence after an injury with the Red Bull, Lawson said it did not need to be restored in the first place; Instead, his focus was just on catching with limited running with a new car – VCARB 02 -.
“Honestly, confidence-wise, nothing really changed from the beginning of the year,” Lawson announced. “I didn’t spend anywhere near enough time (in red bull) to reflect and learn those two races, ‘Oh my God, I really struggled in this car, I have lost my ability’.
“It was not really so. I did two races which were two very messy weeks with a lot of factors, but I think confidence-wise that did not really change.
“It’s just about re-using a new car, and the team, and trying to do everything as soon as possible. I think it is really the place where the focus is. Faith-wise I feel, honestly, as I always have.”

Lawson also opened up on the difficulty of starting the front leg in the practice sessions in a race, with his own feeling that various situations in the opening race have made it difficult to achieve a good balance with tires.
He says that many variables involved in it are not easily unfavorable in the simulator, making sure the teams have cut their work in determining how to use tires in a preparation lap.
“To be honest, it sounds like a difficult year with tires, with set-up,” he explained. “I think warm-up, we have very different situations.
“We were very cold to be very hot from Japan to Bahrain and when you are trying to make tires correctly, it’s a completely unique thing, and you can’t really simulate it in a simulator.
“You are facing too much real -life situations, which you are not going to simulate, and I think this year is more challenging the stuff that we probably do not simulate than previous years.
“The car set-up, we can simulate it and I think we have a very good place, but it is really that other items that you can’t really actually work can be quite difficult.”
