120 more sexual assault lawsuits against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs: lawyer – National

More than a hundred new allegations of sexual assault have been made against Sean “Diddy” Combswith a Texas attorney revealing he represents 120 accusers who have shared dozens of shocking new allegations.
Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee held a news conference Tuesday, saying, “We will expose the people who enabled this conduct behind closed doors.” We will pursue this case no matter who is implicated in the evidence.
“Many powerful people… lots of dirty secrets“, the lawyer said of the allegations, according to NBC News. He said his team had “collected photos, videos, texts” and that the list of names collected “would shock you.”
Friday, Buzbee Law Firm announced that it represents more than 50 accusers who approached them with “heartbreaking” stories from what they witnessed at the rapper’s alleged “creepy” parties.
He also wrote that he expects many more people to be involved as the case and other lawsuits develop and move through the court system.
As of Tuesday, the number of people hired by Buzbee Law Firm and AVA Law Group had more than doubled, Buzbee said. He also said more than 3,000 people have contacted his office with accusations against Combs and will file lawsuits in various states.
“I ask that we treat these courageous people with the dignity and compassion they deserve as they navigate this difficult time,” he said at Tuesday’s news conference. “Additionally, I also ask that if you have been a victim or witness the alleged behavior, please come forward. Your identity will remain confidential at this time.

“The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, which really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world,” Buzbee said. “The wall of silence is now broken.”
Buzbee said 62 percent of this new group of accusers identify as African-American, are evenly split between men and women, and the youngest was nine years old at the time of the crime. He added that 25 of the current accusers were minors at the time of the incidents, which date back to 1991.
After the news conference in Texas, a lawyer for Combs said the artist “cannot respond to all of the baseless allegations in what has become a reckless media circus.”
“That said, Mr. Combs categorically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any assertion that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement to The Associated Press . “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when complaints are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence and not speculation.” »
Tuesday’s announcement is the latest in a series growing mountain of lawsuits against the disgraced musician.
Last week, it was announced that another woman had sued Combs, alleging that the music mogul and his security chief I raped her and recorded it on video in his New York recording studio in 2001. The news came a week after his arrest and a federal sex trafficking charge against him was unsealed.
According to the indictment, Combs’ “freak offs” often involved narcotics, including ketamine, ecstasy and GHB. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams said the drugs were used to keep victims “obedient and docile.”
The so-called “freak offs” were often so physically demanding that Combs IV treatments stocked for those who needed to recover. The music mogul was arrested on September 16 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs remains imprisoned in New York after being denied bail twice. He has pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. His lawyer said he was innocent and would fight to clear his name.
The first complaint was filed by Combs’ former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, last November. Ventura said she endured years of sexual, physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Combs.
